For instance, ultra-high temperature in cement or steel plants might be 2000 degrees Celsius, while in the food processing industry, even 300 degrees might be considered high. How to select extremely high temperature oil or grease?

As mentioned above, the definition of high temperature varies across different industries due to structural differences. The selection of high-temperature lubricating oil and grease also varies based on the machinery’s design, and there is no absolute right or wrong, only what is suitable. The key is to ensure proper lubrication, appropriate temperature, and minimal wear and tear to the machinery.

Corresponding to different operating conditions, under ultra-high temperature circumstances, multiple wear factors might occur simultaneously, such as load and vibration. In such cases, we may opt for dry lubrication using solid additives like molybdenum disulfide, graphite, white graphite, polytetrafluoroethylene, and other materials to address these complex wear conditions.
